Gilly puts money on Suresh, Rohit

Calcutta: Adam Gilchrist and Yuvraj Singh head an all-star cast on the first edition of the International Cricket Council Cricket World audio show which is online at the ICC’s official website from Thursday.
Gilchrist tipped Indians Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma as two of the players set to shine in the World T20. Gilchrist said: “They will be two India players of the highest quality for years to come.”
Yuvraj said he is “pretty confident” of repeating their success. “The Twenty20 format is very unpredictable and you never know what’s going to happen but the team we have is very solid and we’re confident to defend it (title),” he said.
PTI adds from Bangalore: Former India Test captain Anil Kumble Thursday offered his best wishes to the Indian team on the eve of the World Twenty20 which begins in England Friday.
“I wish the Indian team all the best for the T20 World Cup. I hope the all the players do well in England,” he said at a book launch function here.
To a query on out-of-form Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan, who suffered a shoulder injury in the second edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kumble said: “This is no cause for worry.”
