Luke Wright and Stuart Broad set to set ICC World Twenty20 alight

Cricketing sons of the borough Stuart Broad and Luke Wright could both start as England kick off their ICC World Twenty20 bid today.
Both played in the two warm-ups win against Scotland and West Indies ahead of the official curtain raiser against Holland at Lord's.Broad, who played youth cricket with Egerton Park, is almost certain to feature having established himself as an England regular in all formats of the game.Wright, from Bottesford, whose dynamic batting have propelled him up the ranks in the limited overs game, should also feature after starring in the nine-wicket victory against the West Indies. He carried his bat with an unbeaten 75 which included five sixes, three of which came off successive balls.Wright (24) lost his place in the England one-day side for the series against West Indies earlier this year, but has started the domestic season well and took his maiden five-wicket haul against Lancashire.Broad (22) will be keen to make his mark in the tournament and erase the painful memory of being hit for six sixes in one over by Indian tyro Yuvraj Singh at last year's World Twenty20 event in South Africa.England face their second group match on Sunday when they take on Pakistan at the Oval. The Super Eight stages follow from June 11 to 16 should England finish in the top two in Pool B with semi-finals taking place on June 18 and 19 ahead of the grand finale back at Lord's on Sunday, June 21.
